          Mangesh Jeevan Desai (born 28 June 1972) is an Indian actor and comedian. He has appeared in many Marathi language films, and stage plays in lead roles, and also in Hindi language TV serials in lead and supporting roles.

          He is best known for his role in the Marathi Movie Ek Albela (2016) starring opposite Vidya Balan for which he received his first Filmfare and State Awards. He came into prominence after Khel Mandala (2013), a movie that garnered many awards and established him as one of the prominent actors in the Marathi film industry.
